Clement Chantome has revealed that he has no intention of leaving Paris St Germain this summer.

The Ligue 1 giants endured a dreadful 2007/08 campaign, only avoiding relegation on the last day of the season, but the 20-year-old midfielder provided a rare glimmer of hope.

A number of eye-catching displays have seen him draw admiring glances from a host of Europe's top clubs this summer, with Premier League outfit Arsenal thought to be among them.

However, despite the growing interest in his services, Chantome insists that he is happy in the French capital and has no desire to try his luck elsewhere.

Ambition

"The coach (Paul Le Guen) was waiting to see who stayed and who left before telling everyone where they stand for next season," he told France Football.

"I got the answer I was looking for. I wanted to feel as though the club wanted to keep me, and I feel that they do.

"After last season, which is worth about five seasons at any other club, my ambition is to go on improving here."
