Toulouse striker Francileudo Santos has admitted he is eager to join Nantes.
The Tunisia international has fallen down the pecking order at the Stadium Municipal this season and coach Elie Baup is ready to let him leave.
Santos has been informed that Nantes are interested in signing him and he is hoping the deal can be pushed through in January.
"I recently talked with (Nantes official) Japhet N'Doram about my situation and he said Nantes want me in the January transfer window," Santos explained.
"They are following other forwards too but I am hopeful. All my family are ready for that new adventure.
"I am in a difficult period of my career and I am very keen to seize the Nantes challenge.
"At Toulouse, Elie Baup doesn't rely on me anymore, but I am not a has-been."
Santos also revealed that Auxerre's interest in him had cooled in recent times.
"I talked with Jean Fernandez a while ago, but he is not looking for a player like me at the moment," he explained.
