Elie Baup has confirmed that he will allow Francileudo Santos to leave Toulouse if the right offer comes along.
Nantes have been strongly linked with Santos over recent weeks and Baup accepts that the Tunisian striker might as well go elsewhere as he does not figure in his plans.
"You can see Santos lacks competition. If a team can make him play that would be fine," he said.
Baup is keen to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window, though, and has set his sights on a new striker and right midfielder.
"On the right I have used Fabinho and Brian Bergougnoux, but they are not specialists in that position," he explained.
"In attack, we need a tall and physical player that can put pressure on the defences."
Baup also insisted that he was determined to keep hold of Johan Elmander, amid reports linking the player with a move to Barcelona.
"Considering his performances, I would not be surprised (if Barcelona were interested in him), but I don't know anything," he stressed.
"We are looking for reinforcements and not to lose our best players. Our start to the season allows us to aim higher."
Elmander understands that Barca have been tracking his progress but maintains that he is happy at the Stadium Municipal.
"I know they came to watch me, but I am fine at Toulouse," said the Swedish forward.
