Bordeaux midfielder Gregory Sertic looks set to be ruled out for four weeks after scans showed he has a fractured ankle.
Sertic suffered the injury in a clash with Ezequiel Lavezzi in Le Trophee des Champions 2-1 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain on August 3 but returned to training last week.
He then underwent a scan after his pain continued, which revealed he had fractured his malleolus, a bone on his ankle.
A statement on Bordeaux's website said: "The player was found to have a crack of the malleolus and suggests an absence of four weeks .
"This is of course an estimate since the time of recovery depends on many parameters.
"We wish a speedy recovery to our player."
