Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says the club have an offer on the table for PSG striker Guillaume Hoarau.

Offer to remain on the table for another week

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says the club have an offer on the table for Paris St Germain striker Guillaume Hoarau. The forward is on the brink of signing a new contract at Parc des Princes, but could have his head turned by an offer from Lyon. Aulas recently offered 10million euros (£8.4million) for the former Le Havre star and says the bid will remain on the table for another week. He is now waiting to discover if domestic rivals PSG are willing to do business for a player who scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season. "This year we made an offer for a player at PSG," Aulas told Journal du Dimanche. "It is very high indeed - 10m euros - and it remains valid until the end of next week." Hoarau joined PSG last year from Le Havre and he has also been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
