Bordeaux came from a goal down to defeat Galatasaray 2-1 at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.

Galatasaray went in front when Shabani Nonda dusted himself down after being brought down by David Jemmali to score from the spot.

But two goals in the space of 11 second-half minutes turned the game in Bordeaux's favour.

On 53 minutes, Fernando Cavenaghi was set up by Marouane Chamakh, who then netted the winner in the 64th minute.

Helsingborgs needed a late Henrik Larsson strike to claim a 1-1 draw at home to Panionios.

Larsson struck in the 83rd minute to cancel out Panionios' lead which was given to them by Fanourios Goundoulakis' volley on the stroke of half-time.
