Bordeaux youngster Pierre Ducasse insists he is not interested in leaving the club, not even on loan.
The defensive midfielder appeared sporadically under Ricardo and is out to impress new coach Laurent Blanc ahead of the new season.
Ducasse hopes to play more often in Blanc's side and says he is fully committed to the Stade Chaban-Delmas club.
"My wish is to impose myself with Bordeaux because I have played there for nine years," Ducasse told But.
"I want to continue to give a lot to the club that has always been the club of my heart.
"If I ever had thought that I wouldn't be offered the chance to play this season, I would have asked to be loaned out.
"But the arrival of the new coach changes everything.
"He starts new and will observe everybody, which means that everybody has their chance to play their part."
Bordeaux have lost international pair Julien Faubert and Rio Mavuba this summer and Blanc admits that makes his task in the transfer market even harder.
Blanc had hoped to hang onto his stars, while adding at least three others to his squad, but he must now reconsider his needs.
"At first, I wanted to keep the best players and sign three others. But I have already lost two," he said.
"So now I need two new players, added to the three reinforcements already."
