Brazilian midfielder Ferreyra Jussie has revealed he would like to make his move to Bordeaux permanent.
The 23-year-old quit second-placed Lens, who are close to qualifying for the UEFA Champion's League next season, to join fifth-placed Les Girondins on loan.
Jussie was not motivated by money to make the switch and insists he has no desire to return to Lens when his loan spell at the Stade Chaban Delmas expires.
"I feel better and better in the team. Moreover, I played second forward during the last match and that is my real position," he said.
"I made my choice to come to Bordeaux. Even if Lens are second in the table that doesn't change anything. I have no regrets and I hope to stay at the end of my loan, if that is not the case then I don't want to go back to Lens.
"My family is the basis for this. I feel at ease in France, I don't miss Brazil too much. Here I like the calm and security for my wife and daughter and my son who is due.
"The fact that Lens could play in the Champions League is not important to me. Leaving for Spain or somewhere else is not an essential aim either. You have to mix the sporting aspect with comfort and I have always made that choice without regret."
