Bordeaux ace Vladimir Smicer is concerned whether his troublesome knee injury will have recovered before the World Cup begins next month.
The Czech international has been out for over two months with the problem, despite being told the injury would only keep him out for a month.
Smicer was diagnosed with tendonitis, but had expected to return for Les Girondins before the end of the season.
However, the former Liverpool midfielder is still feeling pain at the back of his knee and will go for a further MRI scan on Thursday.
Once he has the results, Smicer will meet Czech national team officials to discuss his fitness ahead of the World Cup.
