Sevilla have reportedly made a double bid for Camel Meriem and Kim Kallstrom.Sevilla have reportedly moved to bolster their ranks with a double bid for Camel Meriem and Kim Kallstrom.
A purported é¼6 million fee has been offered to both Bordeaux and Rennes as the Primera outfit look to improve their midfield for next season.
However, Rennes are loath to lose Sweden international Kallstrom and the player himself has intimated that he sees his immediate future at Stade de la Route-de-Lorient.
"I know they have studied me, but I have not heard anything about them tabling an offer and wanting to buy me,'' Kallstrom told Sportbladet.
"If it is correct, it is of course flattering. It is a big club in a big league.
"But I expect to play for Rennes in the coming season."
Kallstrom's agent, Roger Ljung, has confirmed that along with Sevilla, several other clubs are trailing his client.
"A number of clubs have been following Kim for a long time. He is enjoying himself excellently in Rennes,'' said Ljung.
"Something particularly good will be required to make him move.''
Whilst Kallstrom seems more than content in Rennes, Meriem has admitted that whilst being happy at Bordeaux - he would not be averse to a move.
Monaco are also monitoring the situation, although it seems likely their pursuit could be shelved should, as expected, they wrap up a move for Internazionale wide man Andy van der Meyde.
''If I continue in Bordeaux then I do not consider it to be a stagnation, although it would also be interesting to study other options,'' conceded Meriem.
''I have many hopes for the next year and I have to have a good season wherever it will be - whether in Girondins or in another place.''
