Marseille launched themselves back up the Championnat table with a superb 4-0 win over Strasbourg.
L'OM have not won in the league for over a month but they put that right in devastating fashion at Stade Velodrome.
The crucial moment in the match came on 20 minutes, as Fabrice Ehret was shown a straight red card for hauling down Didier Drogba in the box.
Drogba, who was forced off injured at half time, dusted himself down before sending Vincent Fernandez the wrong way to open the scoring.
The second came on 38 minutes, with Steve Marlet slaloming through the defence before tucking home.
Demetrius Ferreira made the game safe with a goal just after the restart and then doubled his account in injury time.
Top of the table Monaco fought hard to secure a 0-0 draw at Auxerre, leaving them two points clear of Lyon.
Christophe Avezac's goal 16 minutes from time was enough to fire Toulouse to a 1-0 win over Bordeaux, a result which lifts them out of the drop zone.
