TROYES came from behind to beat Lorient 4-2 on Sunday night, while Bordeaux kept up their good run of form in Le Championnat with a 1-0 win over Metz.

Jean-Claude Darcheville opened the scoring for Lorient and two goals in a minute from Troyes's Samuel Boutal and Lorient's Arnaud Le-Lan made the half-time score 2-1 to the visitors.

Veteran striker Patrice Loko (pictured) drew the home side level four minutes after the interval, and Mamadou Niang made it 3-2 four minutes later before Gharib Amzine sealed the game for Alain Perrin's side in the 62nd minute.

Bordeaux left it late at home to struggling Metz to grab all three points, with a goal from Pedro Pauleta sealing the win just five minutes from time.

The end of the match had a further sting in the tail for the visitors when American defender David Regis was shown the red card in stoppage time.

In the other game of the night struggling Sedan plunged deeper into trouble at the bottom end of the table as they were beaten 2-1 at home to Paris Saint Germain.

Jose Aloisio opened the scoring for the capital club after 53 minutes but his goal was cancelled out by Cerdic Mionnet's reply 11 minutes later, a strike greeted with a tremendous as Mionnet was seeing his first action since breaking his leg at the end of last season.

Frederic Dehu then grabbed all three points for the visitors when he popped up with a near post header from an Mikel Arteta corner with just ten minutes left to play.

Sedan are near the foot of the table and it is often the case that you get no luck in this situation, and this was the case as they had two legitimate goals ruled out.
