BORDEAUX have sanctioned the season-long loans of Teddy Richert and Herve Bugnet to Sochaux and Martigues respectively.

The 26-year-old keeper Richert (pictured) joined Bordeaux in 1999, but had a torrid time at Parc Lescure and was loaned out to Lille last term.

However, he suffered an Achilles injury at the start of his spell in Lille and only played one game.

He will travel to Sochaux as understudy to Vincent Fernandez.

Another player on his way out of Bordeaux is Bugnet, who will return to former club Martigues in a bid to gain first-team football.

The 20-year-old forward has been with Les Girondins for two years, but has hardly figured in the team.
