PORTUGUESE national coach Antonio Luis Oliveira has named a 20-man squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Cyprus.

The games to be played on the 1st and 5th of September are both away from home but Oliveira should be confident that his side can secure six vital World Cup qualifying points.

The Portuguese are currently in second place in Group Two, three points behind the Republic of Ireland but have a game in hand on Mick McCarthy's side and maximum points from these games would put them in pole position for an automatic spot in the World Cup finals.

Oliveira has called upon his usual mixture of famous foreign-based players such as Figo, Rui Costa and Conceicao along with players from the Portuguese league, including three from last season's champions Boavista.

Full squad to face Andorra and Cyprus:

Quim (Sporting Braga), Ricardo, Frechaut Nuno, Petit Teixeira (Boavista), Jorge Costa, Jorge Andrade, Nuno Capucho (Porto), Rui Jorge, Beto, Paulo Bento, Joao Pinto (Sporting), Cabral, Fernando Meira, Simao Sabrosa (Benfica), Litos (Malaga), Figo (Real Madrid), Rui Costa (Milan), Sergio Conceicao (Inter), Nuno Gomes (Fiorentina), Pauleta (Bordeaux).
