Besiktas goalkeeper Vedran Runje is reportedly close to joining Lens on a three-year deal.
The French club are believed to have agreed a package worth é¼1million (£675,000) for the 31-year-old shot-stopper.
Runje has been given assurances that he will get the chance to compete with Charles Itandje for the starting spot.
Lens have already confirmed that Itandje's current back-up, Sebastien Chabbert, is to join Ligue 2 side Amiens.
Meanwhile, Lens striker Daniel Cousin has reiterated his desire to depart the Stade Bollaert club over the summer.
Cousin, who claims he will cost é¼2million (£1.35m), wants to move to Spain or England and has rejected Nancy's offer.
"I won't start next season here, it is out of the question and I won't join Nancy," he told But.
"I can leave for é¼2million. England and Spain have always attracted me. We will see what happens."
