Paris Saint Germain's inconsistent season continued after a stormy 1-1 draw at Nice.

In a match littered with bookings, PSG finished the contest with ten men following Edouard Cisse's dismissal in the second half.

PSG put themselves in a strong position when Fabrice Pancrate broke the deadlock after 36 minutes.

But with tempers becoming increasingly frayed, PSG midfielder Cisse received his marching orders on 64 minutes after picking up two yellow cards in three minutes.

Just four minutes later and Nice salvaged a point after Sammy Traore scored from the penalty spot following Stephane Pichot's handball.

Lille required a late equaliser at home to Strasbourg to rescue a point to remain within touching distance of leaders Lyon.

Mamadou Niang's 56th minute goal appeared as though it would hand struggling Strasbourg a much-needed success.

But Peter Odemwingie ensured the spoils were shared when he pounced with just six minutes remaining.

Lille are now five points behind defending champions Lyon while the draw fails to lift Strasbourg out of the relegation zone.

Lowly Lens grabbed a dramatic victory at high-flying Sochaux, with Pape Sarr scoring in the final minute.

Souleymane Diawara had put third-placed Sochaux in the driving seat for the points when he netted on 72 minutes.

Daniel Cousin levelled matters just four minutes later before Sarr's intervention pinched a crucial win for the visitors.
