Ligue 1 newcomers Caen have agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Remy Vercoutre from Lyon, subject to a medical.
The 33-year-old has represented Les Gones since 2002 and became first-choice keeper at the Stade de Gerland following Hugo Lloris' switch to Tottenham, but now moves to Caen on a two-year contract.
A statement published through Caen's official Twitter account read: "Remy Vercoutre joins Caen for the next two years. He is currently undergoing a medical."
Lower Normandy outfit Caen recently won promotion to the French top flight after a two-year absence by finishing third in Ligue 2 - behind Metz and Lens - at the end of the 2013-14 season.
