Lyon coach Remi Garde is backing France striker Karim Benzema to rediscover his scoring form despite enduring an international goal drought stretching back to last June.
Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has also backed his club-mate. The Spain international said at Monday's pre-match press conference: "To question a player like Benzema is madness. "For Madrid and for France he is an extraordinary striker who makes the difference. "Everyone is free to think what they want but when he's well there are few strikers who can reach his level. You have to stay completely focused because the moment you switch off is the moment he scores."
