Michel Bastos has committed his future to Lyon, ruling out a possible move to Italian giants Juventus.
The Brazil international has been strongly linked with a switch to Serie A throughout the summer transfer window.
He has, however, decided to prolong his time in France and claims to be happy at Stade Gerland.
Bastos says the appointment of Remi Garde as Lyon's new boss over the summer has convinced him that he is in the right place, with it his intention to stick around for at least another 12 months.
He posted on his Twitter account: "Friends, let me tell you that I will remain at OL. This is where I want to win titles...
"For those who want an explanation, it is simple: new atmosphere. I never wanted to leave at any price. I feel very comfortable here."
The 28-year-old joined Lyon two years ago from Lille for 18million euros (£16m).
