Juventus have clinched the signings of Sergio Almiron and Tiago.

The midfield duo have undergone successful medicals in Turin this week and have both agreed five-year contracts.

Almiron joins from Empoli after an impressive season in Serie A, with Juve reportedly shelling out £6.5million.

Tiago's future has been uncertain for some time, but he has now left Lyon for Juve after the two clubs agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £9.3million.

The former Chelsea man has won league titles in his last three seasons and is determined to help Juve claim some more silverware.

"I am here to win more trophies and I am happy with my choice," said Tiago.

"Juventus are a great European club. Playing for them was a dream and now it has come true."

Argentine Almiron, who had been linked with Internazionale and Milan, is also looking to make his mark.

"I am here to prove my value and I am ready to face any difficulty," he said.

"I will do my best, as I have always done in the past.

"This is a new starting point in my career. I have been waiting for this moment for some time."
