Lyon could very well lose their left side this summer with continuing reports that Eric Abidal and Florent Malouda will depart Stade Gerland.

Both players have never hidden their desire to move on, and Lyon are now gearing up for a big double departure.

Barcelona are very much leading the chase for full-back Abidal - who is also being chased by Real Madrid, Milan and Arsenal.

But it would appear a move to Spain is the most attractive option for Abidal.

"I have not received concrete proposals, but I cannot deny that there is a real interest from several European teams for me," he is quoted in Spanish daily Sport.

"Spain pleases me, its culture and its soccer.

"I want to do things right, but it is not a secret that Spain pleases me."

Malouda too is continually linked with a departure and has recently revealed his discontent.

Arsenal and Juventus are both keeping close tabs, but a host of teams could mount bids - with Malouda's value rated at about ‚é¼15 million by Lyon.

One player being linked with a move to Lyon is highly-rated Brazilian Eduardo Ratinho.

The 20-year-old full-back is currently with Corinthians, but would still could cost Lyon in excess of ‚é¼7 million.
