Paris Saint Germain have reportedly made a bid for Lyon striker Pierre-Alain Frau.
Parisian officials confirmed their interest in Frau last week and have now stepped up their chase for the 26-year-old.
PSG are rumoured to have offered in the region of é¼4.5 million (£3.1 million) but could face competition from Lens.
The former Sochaux trainee spent the second half of last season on loan at the Sang-et-Or club and coach Francis Gillot is keen to sign the player permanently.
Neither club have yet to match Lyon's é¼6 million (£4.2 million) valuation, although the Frenchman is thought to prefer a move to the Parc des Princes.
