Lyon captain Sidney Govou admits he is ready to leave the club in the summer as the French champions weigh up new recruits.
France international Govou is contracted at Stade Gerland until 2008 but wants to seek out pastures new at the end of the season.
Govou has previously stressed a desire to play abroad and he is hoping he can secure his exit from Lyon without any great difficulty.
"I am transferable," Govou told But! "Of course I have contacts but I won't say more for the moment.
"However I can confirm I will probably have the desire to leave at the end of the season."
If Govou follows through with his wish, then Lyon have already pinpointed potential replacements, with St Etienne's Didier Zokora and Auxerre's Bonaventure Kalou at the top of the shopping list.
Lyon adviser Bernard Lacombe added: "I have already talked with coach Paul Le Guen about Didier Zokora the year I went to Abidjan to oversee Didier Drogba with the Ivory Coast team.
"We are following Zokora closely but a lot of clubs are doing the same.
"I don't know a team which would not like to have a player like Bonaventure Kalou. I like him very much.
"If we should hire him, we should build the team around him. Moreover, there is Salomon his 17-year-old brother who plays at Feyenoord. Perhaps he is even more talented than Bonaventure."
Meanwhile, Lyon striker Pierre-Alain Frau is unlikely to play again this season after suffering a muscle injury in training.
Frau incurred the problem as Lyon prepare for their UEFA Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday and he is not expected to return before next term.
"It is the end of the season for him," said l'OL chairman Jean-Michel Aulas. "He is walking on crutches and can't put his foot onto the ground."
