Marseille eye midfield pair

Marseille are reported to have added midfield duo Vikash Dhorasoo and Benoit Pedretti to their list of targets for next season.

The French giants are keen to bolster their side for next season after a disappointing domestic campaign which has seen them fail to mount a serious title challenge.

Sochaux star Pedretti has been a long-term target for Marseille and they tried to sign him last season before the move fell through.

The French international is highly-coveted with Paris Saint Germain among the clubs chasing his signature.

Sochaux chairman Jean-Claude Plessis revealed Pedretti would not rush into signing with Marseille considering the club's uncertain situation regarding finances and management.

Benoit will not commit himself as long as the club situation (at Marseille) is not clear," said Plessis.

Lyon playmaker Dhorasso is set to leave Stade Gerland at the end of the season when his contract expires.

The 30-year-old has been in and out of the side this season and he may decide to move on for a new challenge.

PSG are keeping tabs on Dhorasso, but European champions Milan could be surprise contenders for the midfielder's signature.
