Leaders Monaco maintained their four-point cushion over Lyon by beating Guingamp 3-1 as the reigning champions crushed Ajaccio 4-0 at home.
The Championnat's top two sides were both in action on Friday evening and they easily picked up the three points as the title race continues in earnest.
Monaco were forced to come from behind at home to Guingamp after Souleymane Camara and Christophe Le Roux combined for Moumouni Dagano to score on 20 minutes.
Didier Deschamps' side were level five minutes later when Emmanuel Adebayor set up Fernando Morientes to equalise.
Morientes was then brought down in the box by Alaeddine Yahia on 28 minutes and Dado Prso tucked away the resultant penalty.
Spain international Morientes made it 3-1 on 38 minutes when he produced the finish from Julien Rodriguez's pass.
Guingamp finished the match with ten men after Auriol Guillaume was sent off for two bookable offences on 76 minutes, with both yellow cards for fouls on Prso.
Lyon had fortune on their side in their convincing win over Ajaccio as the visitors scored their first two goals.
David Terrier put through his own net three minutes before half time and three minutes after the break, Rodrigo turned in Pegguy Luyindula's cross.
It was soon 3-0 as Giovane Elber played a neat one-two with Luyindula before striking the ball home.
Luyindula notched the goal his performance deserved on 73 minutes when he converted a pass from Vikash Dhorasoo.
