LYON are reported to have switched their attentions to Lens ace John Utaka as they seek a replacement for Sonny Anderson.

The French champions are on the look-out for a quality striker to replace Brazilian star Anderson after his move to Villarreal.

Lyon had been linked with a move for Real Madrid's Fernando Morientes and Parma star Adrian Mutu, but they are considering a move for Nigerian ace Utaka.

Lens do not want to sell the powerful striker but could be willing to listen to offers for Daniel Moreira.

Lyon boss Paul Le Guen is also believed to be considering a move for Basel duo Murat and Hakan Yakin.

Le Guen is keen to bolster his squad ahead of next season's Le Championnat and Champions League campaigns and he is thought to be casting an eye over the Swiss international brothers.
