Lyon head coach Hubert Fournier has hit out at Paris Saint-Germain for attempting to 'destabilise' his forwards Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir.

The prolific pair have combined for 39 goals this season, 23-year-old Lacazette with 27 while Fekir, two years younger, has added nine assists to his 12 strikes.

That has brought speculation of interest from several quarters, with Fekir a reported target for Arsenal while Lacazette has been linked with several of the Premier League's top clubs.

PSG have also been touted as a possible destination for both players and Fournier, in a press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Caen reported in L'Equipe, said: "It is quite simply destabilisation.

"We hope it does not have an impact on the players but it is very destabilising. We will speak to them about it but they are big boys.

"This is one of the things you expect at the end of a season when you are competing for a title."

He added: "I do not expect them to leave, the president (Jean-Michel Aulas) has been quite firm on that and we are not going to go back over it."

Blanc was questioned about the pair at his own press conference ahead of Friday's game against Guingamp.

He said: "I think very highly of them, but that is as far as it goes. From my point of view, I don't want to destabilise anyone."

In the event of a summer move for either or both of Lacazette and Fekir, another 21-year-old in Clinton N'Jie could take on an expanded role at Lyon next season.

But the Cameroonian, who has chipped in with six goals this season while being used mainly from the bench, could miss the remainder of the title run-in with a thigh injury.

Fournier said: "We were hopeful up until Wednesday but an MRI scan showed he has a small muscular problem which will without doubt handicap him for the match against Caen.

"We will do all we can to enable him to join us for the two matches that follow but there is still plenty of uncertainty."

Lyon trail two-time reigning champions PSG by three points with three games to go in the race for the title.
