Monaco captain Eric Abidal believes the club is on target to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
The 34-year-old has made 23 appearances since his move from Barcelona in the summer, helping the side who were promoted form Ligue 2 last season to second place and just five points behind Paris St-Germain.
Monaco currently sit six points in front of third-placed Lille and require a second placed finish in order to qualify for the Champions League automatically.
Abidal told L'Equipe: "The objective is to qualify for the Champions League. We proved a lot of things since the beginning of the season. We have shown we can compete with PSG."
Following the weekend clash which resulted in a 1-1 draw with Laurent Blanc's leaders, Claudio Ranieri's side now sit five points behind the pace-setters.
The left-back added: "We must remember the good things and rectify the bad, but the important thing for us was not to get beaten by Paris.
"The gap remains five points and everything is possible. We must use this draw to advance."
