Lyon coach Remi Garde is pleased with the progress of Yoann Gourcuff following his recent knee injury.
The 27-year-old midfielder had been suffering from various injury problems, but played a major role in scoring one and assisting with two other goals in last weekend's season-opening 4-0 Ligue 1 victory over Nice.
And Garde confirmed he is returning to full fitness and the France international's knee is healing well.
He told L'Equipe: "I was very happy to see the progress of this great blow to the knee, which before Wednesday had prevented (Gourcuff from) cycling."
Gourcuff could feature for Lyon as they travel to Sochaux on Friday night.
