Auxerre defender Willy Boly is determined to impress for the rest of the season after being linked with a summer move to Parma.

Boly was a target for SPL champions Celtic back in August before being mooted as an option for West Ham United in the January transfer window.

Fiorentina have also been credited with an interest in the past and the latest reports claim fellow Serie A side Parma want to sign Boly at the end of the season.

However, Boly is in no rush to leave French football and says his target is to earn a call-up to either the France or Ivory Coast national team squad.

"I want to play more in the second half of the season and continue to impress my suitors," Boly told Sky Sports.

"I heard news and talk about teams in Europe. I am 22 years old, so I need to learn for two more years in the French league.

"Parma? They're a top team in Italian football and my hero Thuram played there, so you never know. I am flattered by their interest being mentioned.

"I want to realise my dream of playing for the national team of the Ivory Coast or France one day."
