Sochaux playmaker Thierry Doubai has revealed his devastation at the injury that promises to keep him out for a number of months.
Ivorian Doubai had made a fantastic start to the season, including an incredible overhead kick finish against St Etienne last month, but suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury in Sochaux's 1-0 home defeat by Rennes on Saturday.
The midfielder, who has made one appearance for his country, moved to the French club on a permanent deal from Italian side Udinese this summer after a successful loan deal at the club last season.
"I am very down at the moment," Doubai told skysports.com.
"My momentum for this season was fantastic until this injury"
