Reported Premier League target Axel N'Gando has signed a new contract at Rennes until 2016 to silence speculation of an English move.

Arsenal are thought to be big admirers of the teenage midfielder, while both Manchester clubs have also been linked.

But N'Gando, who signed his first professional deal in April, has been rewarded for his efforts at the Ligue 1 side with a new long-term contract.

The 19-year-old says he is not thinking of a foreign switch at this point in his career but has not ruled out a future move overseas.

He told Sky Sports: "I am delighted to sign for Rennes.

"This club has done everything for me and I am happy to continue to learn my trade here.

"I am not ready to go abroad. Maybe one day, but at the moment I am not thinking about it."
