Portugal international Paulo Machado has expressed his delight after completing a move to Greek champions Olympiakos from Toulouse.
The 26-year-old midfielder underwent a medical in Athens over the weekend and a transfer has now been finalised, with reports suggesting the fee agreed between the clubs was in the region of €2.7million (£2.1m).
Having spent the past three years with Toulouse, Machado is excited about the challenge ahead at Olympiakos and hopes to win a lot of silverware.
"I am very happy to join Olympiakos," he said after agreeing a three-year contract.
"They are a big club who are in the Champions League and I have come here to win titles.
"I will work as hard as possible to help the team achieve their goals."
