Marseille yet to receive any offers for Argentine playmaker

Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo claims the club have received no offers for Lucho Gonzalez. Various clubs are reported to hold an interest in the Argentine playmaker, with his future in France called into question on a regular basis. There are, however, no bids on the table and Marseille claim there is nothing in speculation suggesting he could soon be on the move. "There's nothing new, no contact; just rumours," said Anigo. "With (coach) Didier (Deschamps), we've decided on a date, 15th July, up to which the player can leave. After that, it'll be finished."

Dealings

Lucho joined Marseille from Porto in 2009, commanding an €18million transfer fee (£16.1m). He is believed to be attracting interest from big-spending Spanish outfit Malaga and Serie A giants Roma. Meanwhile, Anigo claims Marseille have 'got what they wanted' from this summer's transfer market, having added Alou Diarra, Gennaro Bracigliano, Jeremy Morel and Morgan Amalfitano to their ranks.
