Midfielder Sebastien Roudet has joined Sochaux on a three-year deal from relegated Lens.
The Frenchman arrives at the Stade Auguste Bonal having made 32 appearances for Lens last season, scoring four goals.
However, Roudet could not prevent Les Sang et Or slipping into the second tier after finishing second-bottom of Ligue 1.
The 30-year-old has previously played top-flight football for Nice and Valenciennes as well as Lens.
He began his senior career with Ligue 2 side Chateauroux back in 1998.
