French striker would welcome offer from Marseille or PSG

David Trezeguet has admitted that he would welcome the opportunity to return to his native France. The experienced striker has spent the past decade away from his homeland, taking in spells at Juventus and Hercules. He moved to Spain last summer, allowing his wife and family to be closer to their roots. Trezeguet is now keen to do the same, with the 33-year-old World Cup winner open to the prospect of a second spell in Ligue 1.

He shot to prominence during a successful five-year stint at Monaco and acknowledges that he would find it difficult to snub an approach from a top French club. "I miss France a lot," Trezeguet told RMC. "I am very attracted by Ligue 1. Teams like Marseille and Paris St Germain interest me. "However, it is true that in France it can be difficult for a player over 30 to secure such a move."
