St Etienne coach Christophe Galtier admits Guirane N'Daw is poised to leave the club.
The Senegalese midfielder has spent his entire career to date in France, taking in spells at Sochaux and Nantes before linking up with St Etienne.
His time in Ligue 1 appears to be coming towards a close, though, with interest in his services continuing to mount.
Reports suggest a number of clubs in England are keen on the 26-year-old anchorman, with bids believed to be in the pipeline.
Galtier is well aware of such talk and accepts that he is likely to lose N'Daw before the January transfer window slams shut.
"He is waiting for a move," he told L'Equipe.
"Some clubs have started to show their interest and he could leave before the end of next week."
