Hot-shot striker set to be rewarded with improved contract offer
Lille have opened talks with star striker Moussa Sow regarding an extension to his current contract.
The 24-year-old only joined the club last summer, arriving as a free agent following his release by Rennes.
He has enjoyed a remarkable debut season with the Ligue 1 leaders, plundering 15 goals so far.
That return sees him top the scoring charts in France and has led to inevitable speculation regarding his future.
Meeting
Lille already have him tied down until 2013, but are keen to prolong that agreement and fend off any interest from afar.
"We have already started to talk," vice-general manager Frederic Paquet told L'Equipe.
"We want to carry on working together.
"We will meet again in the spring, or possibly in the summer."
