Former Newcastle and Chelsea man ponders French option
Cameroonian midfielder Geremi has refused to rule out the prospect of making a move to Arles-Avignon.
The 32-year-old is currently a free agent after seeing his contract at Greek outfit Larissa terminated.
As he is on the look out for a new club, he admits he could be tempted by a switch to France.
Having previously turned out for the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Newcastle, his arrival at Arles would be most welcome.
Experience
The Ligue 1 minnows continue to struggle at the foot of the French top flight, with relegation seemingly a formality.
Geremi claims he would welcome the challenge, though, and is open to offers.
"It would be a great experience for me," he said.
"The French Ligue 1 is one of the best leagues in the world. I could enjoy myself there."
