Toulouse have been dealt an untimely blow by the news that Cheikh M'Bengue has been sidelined.
The 22-year-old defender is expected to be out of action for between four and five weeks.
He sustained a serious thigh injury during a 1-0 defeat to St Etienne on Saturday.
M'Bengue lasted just 15 minutes of that contest before he was forced from the field.
The versatile defender underwent an MRI scan on Monday in an effort to determine the severity of the problem and it has now been confirmed that he will be out for some time.
Toulouse will be hoping he suffers no further setbacks, as they are determined to build on their productive start to the season.
The weekend defeat to St Etienne was their first of the season and they continue to sit atop of the Ligue 1 standings.
