Jean Makoun has admitted his future lies in the hands of Lyon after being linked with a move to Wolfsburg.
Makoun is believed to have attracted attention from several clubs following a couple of seasons at Stade Gerland when he has struggled to replicate the form he showed with previous employers Lille.
The Cameroon international played down speculation over a possible departure earlier this summer but Wolfsburg have now reportedly made an offer in the region of €6million (£4.9m).
Makoun is happy for Lyon to make the final decision and has declined to comment on whether he would be keen to embark on a new challenge.
"I heard the German club has made a bid, but Lyon have not accepted yet," he told skysports.com.
"But let's wait and see. I still have two years left on my contract here but if the club accept a bid you cannot do anything."
