Gervinho has attempted to put an end to speculation surrounding his future by declaring that he wants to remain at Lille.
The Ivory Coast international is regarded as an exciting prospect and has been linked with a move to one of Europe's top clubs.
There was also a lot of transfer talk before he joined Lille from Le Mans last summer and he has no intention of moving on just yet.
The 22-year-old is under contract at Lille until 2012 and is keen to secure UEFA Champions League qualification.
"I'm staying at Lille," said Gervinho.
"I want to relive the moments we had this year in the Europa League and next season why not play another competition and take on the other big teams in beautiful stadiums."
Lille are currently in pole position to claim the final Champions League berth in Ligue 1 as they sit third with four games remaining, but there are a number of teams still in contention.
