Loic Remy admits he could be forced out of Nice by the club's disgruntled supporters.
The striker was targeted by fans as he left Stade du Ray following Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Auxerre.
That result has left Nice 16th in Ligue 1 and without a win in eight outings.
Tensions are beginning to mount, and the players are being caught up in the storm.
While those in the first-team fold accept that performances of late have not been good enough, Remy feels the abuse has crossed the line.
The France international insists he always give 100 per cent every time he takes to the field and has warned that he will seek a move elsewhere if he is not treated with more respect.
"I have given my best for the shirt and people spit at me," he said.
"It is unacceptable.
"If people spit at me again, I will think about leaving before the end of the winter transfer window."
