Taiwo focused on Marseille

Marseille defender Taye Taiwo has admitted he would consider a move to either Italy or England.

Inter target also a fan of the Premier League

Taye Taiwo has admitted he would consider a move to either Italy or England but he is staying focused on Marseille at the current time. Inter Milan are understood to be tracking the Nigerian left-back, although reports suggest Jose Mourinho would prefer Lazio's Aleksandar Kolarov. Taiwo has not been contacted by the Serie A club but is flattered by the interest and concedes that it would be a wonderful opportunity. The 24-year-old is also a fan of the Premier League and is waiting to see if there are any offers before the end of the month. "I am always linked with big clubs, but there has been nothing yet from Mourinho," he told skysports.com. "To play for Inter is a dream for a quality player. I also like English football. "Let's wait and see. Marseille, as far as I am concerned, is my club. The rest is paper talk and rumours."

Summer move

Taiwo's agent Franco Jovino believes his client is unlikely to leave Marseille during January and may have to wait until the summer. He said: "He is interesting many clubs but for now nothing is concrete, particularly as regards Inter and the Italian clubs in general. "The player is especially popular in the Premier League. "The possibility of moving in January? It's complicated. More likely in June."
