Marseille defender Souleymane Diawara has accused former club Bordeaux of playing mind games.
The Senegal international spent two years with les Girondins before making the move to Stade Velodrome over the summer.
Having helped Bordeaux lift the Ligue 1 title last term, Diawara was surprised to hear Laurent Blanc say recently that he was not thinking about defending the crown.
Blanc also stated that Bordeaux were not the favourites to finish top of the table but Diawara knows from personal experience what they really think in the camp.
"Bordeaux said they are not going for the title, but last season when I was there we talked all the time about the title, we fought for it every day," Diawara told Rmc.
"Bordeaux are going for the title, I know that, they can't lie to me."
Bordeaux are currently setting the pace in France with 16 points from six games, while Marseille are two points further back in third.
