Lyon are set to bolster their strike force after agreeing a deal with Fenerbahce for Dani Guiza.
The 28-year-old Spain international has made little secret of his desire to leave Turkey after failing to settle in the country.
Lyon, who are keen to beef up their attacking options after losing Karim Benzema and Fred, have agreed a knock-down price for the striker.
Fenerbahce coach Christoph Daum has confirmed a fee has been agreed and that they are now searching for his replacement.
"The offer isn't very high in relation to the price we paid to have him," Daum told Milliyet.
"But he absolutely wants to leave the club. So we will accept it and look for another attacker."
