Paris Saint Germain will be without defender Zoumana Camara for at least three months through injury.
The stopper will definitely miss the start of the new Ligue 1 season with a calf strain.
PSG doctor Eric Rolland has admitted Camara's injury has proven an unwelcome surprise for the Parisians.
"It's a bad surprise," explained Rolland. "The treatment is restrictive and long.
"He can run but will not be back to collective training for three months."
Head coach Antoine Kombouare admits Camara is a key figure in his plans: "He's an important part of my team."
