German champions Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Karim Ziani from Marseille for an undisclosed fee.
Ziani has signed a four-year contract with Wolfsburg after being told he was not in new Marseille coach Didier Deschamps' plans for this season.
The Algeria international joined l'OM two years ago from Sochaux and has spent his entire professional career in France.
He had been keen to secure a move to Wolfsburg and had expressed his wish to play under the Bundesliga club's coach Armin Veh.
With the deal now completed, Veh is confident that the 26-year-old will prove to be a valuable addition to his squad.
"I am delighted," said Veh. "He fits well with our team and will help us achieve our goals."
