Paris St Germain have confirmed a deal has been agreed with Sochaux to sign Mevlut Erdinc.
The striker has been waiting for the two clubs to settle on a fee after confirming his interest in moving to Parc des Princes earlier in the week.
Erdinc has hit 11 goals in each of the last two Ligue 1 seasons and had been a target for several clubs in France and elsewhere in Europe.
Bordeaux and Lyon were linked with bids, while reports also claimed Premier League duo Aston Villa, Fulham and Wigan Athletic had shown an interest.
However, PSG are now set to finalise a deal for the Turkey international, with the fee reported to be in the region of 10million euros (£8.5million).
