Domenech names 23-man squad for Uruguay test

Arsenal duo Mikael Silvestre and Samir Nasri have been recalled to the France squad for next week's friendly with Uruguay. Nasri has missed France's last two games because of injury, but he proved his return to fitness with two goals in last weekend's win over Manchester United. Silvestre has also impressed at Arsenal in recent weeks after breaking into Arsene Wenger's starting XI and he has been rewarded with his first call-up since the 2006 World Cup by France coach Raymond Domenech. The pair join Gunners team-mates Gael Clichy, Bakary Sagna and William Gallas in the 23-man squad. In-form Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has been included, but there is no place for Blues team-mate Florent Malouda. Manchester United defender Patrice Evra and Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra also make the squad. Caen striker Steve Savidan has earned his first call-up to the national team after impressing this season.
